    "content": "Shipping & Delivery Last updated: August 2026 Where we deliver We deliver right across Mexico. What it costs Express delivery is a flat $250. Orders of $1000 or more are delivered free. The charge is shown at checkout before you pay, and it is charged as a delivery option rather than as a line item, so a discount code only ever reduces the price of the goods. How long it takes Allow 5 to 7 days. Screens are prepared to order rather than picked off a shelf, which is what takes the time. We will tell you if anything is going to run longer than that. Tracking Every order ships with tracking. You get a link by email as soon as your order leaves us. If it has not arrived, check your spam folder first, then contact us with your order number and we will resend it. If a parcel is late, lost or damaged Until the goods reach you, the risk is ours: on a consumer sale, risk passes when you take physical possession of the goods (Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor). If a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, contact us with your order number and we sort it out, either by replacing the order or refunding it. You do not need to chase the carrier yourself. Getting your address right Please check the delivery address before you pay. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or nobody could take delivery, we will resend it, though a second delivery charge may apply.",

    "content": "Refunds & Returns Last updated: August 2026. Cancelling an order You can cancel an order at any time before it ships. Most orders leave us within 24 hours, so if you have paid and need to change or cancel, email us at theteam@magneticscreens.mx within 12 hours of ordering. A 12.5% service and processing fee applies to a cancellation once payment has been taken. After packing and shipping have started an order can no longer be cancelled, and the return terms below apply instead. Returning a screen within 15 days You can return a product within 15 days of purchase for an exchange or a refund. This covers changing your mind, finding a better price, ordering the wrong item, a screen that does not fit, or simply no longer needing it. For those reasons a non-refundable charge of $695 per order applies, which covers the original packing and handling, and you pay the cost of shipping the goods back to the warehouse the parcel came from. To be eligible, the product must have been bought within the last 15 days, be in its original packaging, and be accompanied by the receipt, order confirmation or other proof of purchase from this website. We cannot accept returns of items bought from third-party retailers. If something is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered This is different from changing your mind and the charges above do not apply. If a screen arrives damaged, has parts missing, or is not the item you ordered, tell us straight away and we will put it right at no cost to you. Consumer sales in Mexico are governed by the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor, and nothing in this policy takes away rights that law gives you. What you get back and when We refund to the payment method you used, so a card refund returns to that card and a PayPal payment returns to that PayPal account. Refunds are processed 24 to 48 hours after the returned item reaches us. If you would rather hold the amount as credit against a future purchase, ask us and we will do that instead. We will confirm the return address before you send anything back, because the warehouse your parcel shipped from is the one it needs to return to. We handle your data lawfully, fairly and transparently, in line with the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares, the LFPDPPP. Who is responsible The controller for your data is Caruso Consulting Co Ltd, trading as Magnetic Screens. Our Mexico address and our registered address are both in the footer of every page and on the About page. You can reach us about anything on this page at theteam@magneticscreens.mx . What we collect and why Order data. Your name, email address, delivery address, phone number and order contents. We need these to perform the contract with you. We never see or store your full card number: payments go through Stripe or PayPal, who are the ones handling card data. Enquiry data. What you send us through a contact or quote form, so we can answer you. This is also contract performance, or our legitimate interest in replying to you. Analytics data. Only if you consent. See the Cookie Policy for what is set and how to change your mind. Identity and tax numbers We do not ask you for a national identity or tax number at checkout. If that ever changes, because a carrier or customs requires one to release a parcel, we will say so on this page and ask for it only where it is genuinely needed. We use it for that one purpose. We share it only with the courier and clearing agent handling your delivery, we store it alongside your order record, and we do not use it for marketing, profiling, or credit checks of any kind. You can ask us to confirm what we hold or to delete it once your order has been delivered, by contacting us on the details above. How long we keep it Order records are kept for as long as Mexican tax and company law requires, and no longer. Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted once the matter is closed and there is no longer a reason to keep them. Who we share it with Only the parties needed to get your order to you and to run the site: our payment providers (Stripe, PayPal), our email provider, our delivery partners, and our hosting and analytics providers. They act as processors on our instructions, or as controllers in their own right where they set their own purposes, as payment providers do. We do not sell your data. Some of these providers process data outside Mexico. Where they do, the transfer is made on the basis the LFPDPPP allows, which permits a transfer where the recipient is subject to a law or binding agreement giving substantially similar protection. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. Our trading and registered addresses are in the footer of every page and on the About page. How a contract is formed The products shown on this site are an invitation to you to place an order, not a binding offer. Your order is the offer. A contract comes into being when we accept it, which we do by sending you an order confirmation email or by dispatching the goods, whichever happens first. Our pre-contract information duties follow the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor. Prices and payment All prices are in Mexican pesos and are the total payable for the goods. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay: $250 flat, or free on orders of $1000 and over. Payment is taken at checkout by card through Stripe or through PayPal. We do not store your full card details. Where a product shows a previous price alongside the current one, the previous price is the price this shop charged for that item before the current offer. If a price is obviously wrong, for example through a typing error, we will tell you before dispatch and you can confirm the corrected price or cancel at no cost. Delivery We deliver throughout Mexico. Times, costs and what to do if a parcel goes missing are on the Shipping page. Cutting a screen to size Every standard screen is designed to be cut down at home to fit your own opening. Order the size above your measurement. Once you have cut a screen it cannot be returned as unwanted, though your rights over faulty goods are unaffected. Screens we make to your measurements are covered separately on the Refunds & Returns page. Your right of withdrawal We accept returns within 15 days of purchase, which is our own policy rather than a statutory minimum, and the conditions and charges are set out in full on the Refunds & Returns page. Nothing there removes any right the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor gives you. Faults and guarantees Your statutory rights over goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose come from the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor. Nothing in these terms limits those, or any other right you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by agreement. Acceptable use Please do not misuse the site: no attempting to break into it, no scraping it for a competing catalogue, and no using it for anything unlawful. We may withdraw access if you do. Our liability Our liability is set out on the Limited Liability Indemnity page. Nothing there or here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under the Ley Federal de Protección al Consumidor.
